If your partnership focuses mainly on pupil/learner/trainee involvement, please explain to what extent they will be involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of project activities.
Not only teachers, but also head teachers are deeply involved in the project because it focuses on raising students’ and teachers’ self-confidences and on making school a more friendly and supportive place for students. ICT, art and class teachers, assistants and librarians will focus their attention on various student’s abilities and skills. We asked our students about their interests, what they would like to develop and show. The teachers and students in each school decided the topic and content of the project and we will organize various contests and events on local and international level during the project period. Exhibitions are planned displaying the students’ mascot designs, creations, pictures and drawings about their hobbies; there will be music performances in elderly home residences. Guided tours, for visitors, will be organized by the students. These events will enable lots of students and their parents to be involved and therefore develop and progress with their creative talents, which in turn should improve their academic achievement across the curriculum. Students will take pictures during the first year's activities, which will be put into our joint product: a mosaic of our countries. They will together develop the Hidden European Talents wiki, our final joint product. Students and teachers will together present the results of the collaboration at the conference during the last project meeting. Students will learn more about different countries, their regional distinctions by using computer and books and present their own country to other participating countries during mobilities.Surveys should give an answer as to whether the school is an inspiring, encouraging, motivating place. The project offers many possibilities to teachers and students to show their hobbies. At the project meetings we will analyze individual contributions of participating teachers to the project activities and emphasize the importance of everybody being fully involved in the process. All participating partners will be involved in the decision making, evaluation and conclusions that the project will need to be successful. We will use our wiki as an e-portfolio. In that way we will encourage collaborative learning and information sharing as well as increase the students’ engagement and participation. ICT tools, our joint wiki, will be an extra area to present and control the participants’ involvement, the implementation and evaluation of the whole project.
