Mascot competitions
HIDDEN EUROPEAN TALENTS (HET) WIKI– students will set up a new wiki, our final joint product. They will design it together on international level and develope it during the project years. Partner schools will make their introductory pages on the HET wiki.
HETi - a mascot competition. First children will design and then make mascots of the school using different techniques and materials. An exhibition and a contest on a local level will be organised at each school by December. The national winner mascots (HETi-s) will be given names and introduced on the wiki. HETi-s will visit children's homes, stay with them for days, take photos, write reports/diaries on their experiences which will be published on the HET wiki. This will be an ongoing activity during the project time. These mascots will "travel" to the project meetings and teacher exchanges.

Teachers from England and Slovakia will visit Germany. Englands representives help to prepare students in the age of 8-10 to the English language contest. Both countries take part in lessons, promote their countries in special Comenius afternoon clubs and learn more about life in Germany. Mascots will show their experiences in pictures.

Languages
ONE TALENT – MANY LANGUAGES - Students will choose words depicting the theme of their hobby, pastime and make dictionaries in the partners' languages on the wiki. The dictionary will be illustrated with drawings and photos and developed during the first year.
WELCOME – WILLKOMMEN! Funny and challenging English and German tests will be prepared for non-native speaker students on 3 levels by the English and German partners. The best representatives of schools will take part in the tests on the international level on-line. Later the tests will be published and the winners will introduce themselves on the wiki.

Music and dance
THE SONG -Students will chose a common song to write new lyrics to it. Each school will choose one word in their mother toungue they like the best, eg. concerning friendship. These foreign words with their meanings will be published on the wiki. The lyrics, written in mother tongue or English by children, should include these foreign words, too. The lyrics will be translated to English, illustrated and published on the wiki, the songs will be recorded by May. Children will vote for the best lyrics on local and then on international level.
TALENTS SHOW- Music talents will compose their own songs, the lyrics will be translated into English. A show wll be organised for local people. Children will make a CD/DVD with the recorded songs, dances and distribute them to partners by June.

Story-time
HIDDEN TREASURE – older students will write ‘circulating’ stories in English. Every school will start a story with the same opening sentence, develope a few lines, then the stories will be circulating among schools sent via emails. Finally the stories will be published on the Wiki and partners vote for the best ones. Students will illustrate the stories with pictures and/or photos, they will be published on the wiki, books, comics will be completed by March.
Hidden Treasure - younger students will write their own stories in mother tongue, and other children will illustrate them. The main characters will be our mascots. Older children will help with translation of the stories, and both the illustrated versions will be put on the wiki by December.
