The new project will help our pupils to become active European citizens through learning about their and their partners’ system of education.
Encouraging pupils autonomy: pupils will work on their own in Comenius teams guided by coordinator/teachers/teacher trainees and in their regular lessons. It will enrich our students creativity and talents and improve their foreign languages skills in music, art, ICT, literature and drama fields as well as communication skills. Since the students are of different age, we feel that they will get an opportunity to help and tutor each others in different areas.
All will contribute to the final product, a mosaic.
Pupils will create products, organize exhibitions/actions, communicate with partner schools.
Specific tasks (e.g.logo competition): all pupils of the schools will be able to contribute.
They will be creative and put their own ideas into the project.
We also will involve partners from outside our schools into this project and have already successfully started looking for some.

D 3. PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGY
-What are the concrete objectives of the partnership?
- Explain what subjects or problems you intend to address.
- What approach will you take to achieve your objectives? The concrete objective is the promotion and inculcation of lifelong style of learning from an early age. "Unity in diversity" is the motto of the EU. Our children attend various schools in Europe. More and more parents decide to change the country to settle down so some children have to change not only school but also an educational system. Even if it the opposite takes place, the school should prepare children for further education at universities in EU or for taking vocational courses. The international project CC will help children to focus on their and their partners’ system of education. Using a mascot students will present their everyday life and their schools – not only school subjects but also the entire school environment - a physical situation of a building in their location, schools’ customs, traditions, rules and human supportive factors – how other people than teachers participate in the school life during talent finding and develloping. Comparing their schools students will cooperate to create their vision of an European school on the Wiki. A Comenius Cat will help them to realize how important is to struggle for good education. ??? At the same time presentation of their own schools/educational systems should: build their self-confidence …. enrich our students creativity and talents and improve their foreign languages skills in music, art, ICT, literature and drama fields as well as communication skills. Since the students are of different age, we feel that they will get an opportunity to help and tutor each others in different areas. The project will provide them with a common goal to build up their self-expression and self-confidence. Broadening their education in different fields to express their talents plays an important role in motivating young people to study beyond their core school subjects. Our project is a teacher/student commitment to develop meaningful activities related to key competences for lifelong learning. Teachers will also be facilitators for exchanging their knowledge and creative abilities with specific objectives and end-products in sight. We have set up realistic goals that can be achieved through ICT and other modern gadgets.
J: Comenius Cat bounds the forms of mascots. It makes children think of cats. If we gave the name: Comenius Candy/Catty/Cohort/Compy/Chummy or anything like that children would feel more freedom with designing it/him/her. The notion of Mr. Comenius’ Cat should help children to understand the education is a permanent process which will last through their life. Comenius cat (a kind of a link between the past and the present situation in education fields) will remind the how the children in their countries were taught for centuries and how it is going now. Despite of the school they are presently attending , students should be prepared to continue their education in any country of EU. The project should teach students and their teachers how to cooperate on the international level using ICT and foreign languages.
